I'm Michael Petrus, a final-year medical student at the University of Namibia and the passionate founder of the Namibian Student Surgical Society. With five years immersed in the healthcare system, my zeal lies in reshaping our healthcare paradigm. I am deeply committed to addressing the inaccessibility of safe surgical care. My overarching goal is to actively contribute to the establishment of resilient, adaptable healthcare systems, ensuring standardized and equitable medical services for all. I am dedicated to championing healthcare equity, exploring global health nuances such as global surgery and health economics, and engaging in impactful research initiatives.
